Many manufacturers that produced asbestos or products containing asbestos were severely punished by the courts. Fortunately, many of these companies had products liability coverage to help offset litigation costs and actual payouts.

Even when a product is misused or used as a part for another product, manufacturers are still at risk for liability lawsuits. • First-party coverage of direct expenses such as notification, disposal, additional payroll and storage.
  • Third-party coverage when your product affects one or more third parties and their expenses, including notification, disposal, lost business, product rehabilitation and substitution. Both first party and third party coverage may also involve litigation or court proceedings.
